Kenes Group is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager. The main goal of the Marketing Manager is to increase event profit and ensure long-term growth, through creating and implementing marketing strategies utilising innovative tools for best delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Ample implementation of the marketing activities for all assigned congresses and monitoring the results
  • Develop the congresses brand and marketing strategies
  • Be the point of contact for the assigned congresses marketing needs
  • Prepare and adhere to congress budgets
  • Manage a marketing coordinator
  • Oversee different marketing campaigns
  • Manage the day-to-day marketing activities of the assigned congresses
  • Manage internal and external interfaces to ensure successful deliveries of marketing activities
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns and measure results
  • Create a wide range of different marketing materials (online and offline including videos)
  • Provide reports on progress and effectiveness of the different campaigns

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Industry Liaison & Sales Associate – Tel Aviv | Amsterdam

As a member of the Kenes Industry Liaison & Sales team, the Associate will be responsible for maximising income from sponsorship and exhibition sales, as well as relationship building with the relevant industry representatives for the assigned congresses.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed assigned targets for profitable sales objectives in assigned congresses and industries
  • Grow and further develop existing and new business, and meet established goals
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customers’ needs on an ongoing basis
  • Plan sales and pricing strategy for each project, develop Industry prospectus and manage all partnerships including soliciting, creating and responding to offers with proposals
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts (pharma / medical device companies and others), while prospecting for new ones
  • Conduct successful negotiations with clients (potential sponsors & exhibitors)
  • Main contact for industry (pharma / medical device companies and others) and act as a liaison between companies and conference project teams for your assigned congresses
  • Proactively provide reports to the Senior Account Manager, project teams, and clients

Requirements:

Procurement Specialist, Hotels & Venues – Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Sofia

Kenes Group is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage the company’s core purchasing process for the hotels and venues sector. The Procurement Specialist is reporting directly to the Procurement Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage hotel and venue purchasing activities/processes
  • Research, analysis, and approval of preferred suppliers, mainly hotels, venues and travel services
  • Preliminary supplier negotiations and contracting
  • Managing the purchasing lifecycle, including planning, RFI/RFP/RFQ, purchase orders, goods/services receipts and non-conformity reports
  • Monitor and process payments and invoices
  • Reporting, including spending analysis, pricing trends, market impact, risk analysis and SCM performance reports

Requirements:

  • Highly analytical, performance driven individual with strategic thinking
  • Ability to work on multiple projects/multitasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Service oriented team player with excellent communication skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree – an advantage
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in negotiations/contracting and/or operations in the Hotels/Tourism/Travel/Professional Events sector or corporate in-house travel
  • Experience managing large purchasing volume portfolios
  • Experience working in an international, multicultural environment
